Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How should you choose a contractor?

A: A homeowner or property owner should look for a solid reputation, previous customers who were satisfied and references from the contractor. Since most of our business is acquired through word of mouth it’s likely you’ve already heard about the quality of our work. But, we’ll gladly provide a reference list specific to the type of project you are considering.

Q: Do I need architectural drawings before we have a consultation meeting?

A: Since we are a design/build company we are used to working with folks from the very initial part of their project. Even if you are early on in the decision process we’re happy to set up a time to meet.

Q: What if I know my house needs renovating but don’t know exactly what I want to do?

A: That’s what we’re here for! Use our years of experience to bounce some ideas and get feedback. At some point we’ll want to assist you in having a detailed plan in place but it’s not necessary from the start.

Q: What if we need to make a change to the scope of work during the project?

A: It’s not uncommon for our clients to come up with new ideas during various stages of the process. If that happens, we’ll work with you to adjust the plan and the cost estimates. Yet, it will always be our goal to assist you from the start with a detailed plan so the project stays as close to the initial budget as possible
